NETS ExtraView Procedures when ExtraView Down - 02/10/14
Belinda (or NETS Section Head or Acting Section Head in Belinda's
absence) is lead for NETS for notification and ExtraView system status tracking
Belinda/Ingmar/CASG - Notification is sent forExtraView service to staff subscribed that ExtraView is down
Admin_net and NNAG (including NCAB) are subscribed to the ExtraView notification service and will receive an email about the outage.
Include these instructions in Notifier and email:
Can submit non-urgent Work Requests by emailing to email@example.com with work to be done.
Work Requests will be put in a queue for approval when ExtraView is
For extended outages greater than 8 hours, send all NETS Work
Requests to firstname.lastname@example.org and NETS staff will make sure work is assigned and logged
For urgent Work Requests, call the CISL Help Desk at x2400 during regular work hours. After hours call CASG at 307-996-4300 or 1-855-307-NWSC (6972) and explain required
work and ask them to contact appropriate NETS staff by phone or email
